The Montana Replace Taxes with Trade Charge Amendment, also known as CI-55, was on the November 6, 1990 ballot in Montana as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have repealed existing taxes and required state funding by assessment of a trade charge on business and financial transactions.[1][2]
