The Montana Tax Exemption for Non-Profit Organizations Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the November 7, 1916 ballot in Montana as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have exempted governmental, municipal and nonprofit organizations from taxation.[1]
