The Montana Term Limits of County Officers Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the November 7, 1944 ballot in Montana as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have made sections relating to terms of office for certain county officers conform with sections relating to terms of office for other county officers.[1][2]
