I have called the 88th home for most of my life, leaving only for college and law school. I have

lived in both a neighborhood and the rural portion of the 88th, where I currently reside on a small farm. It is time for me to give back to the community that has given me so much and I am ready for the challenge. I promise to always listen to my constituents and give 110%, because they deserve nothing less. As State Representative, I will work to enhance the business climate in Kentucky. Jobs, fiscal responsibility, infrastructure improvement, decreasing crime, and supporting education - these are issues that matter to Kentucky's hardworking families. If the people of the 88th District trust me

with their vote, I will restore the conservative values and principles they expect.
  • I will fight to decrease public spending, taxes, and government debt.
  • I will work to eliminate burdensome regulations on our business community, promoting job creation and retention.
  • I will work every day to protect our Constitutional rights and freedoms.
Safety, jobs, infrastructure, fiscal responsibility, and Constitutional rights.
My parents are the best people I know. Both of them have worked tirelessly to build a wonderful life for our family. My father is a brilliant engineer and former President of Kentucky-American Water Company. My mother owns multiple real estate businesses and serves on Lexington's Planning Commission; she is also the strongest person I know. My parents taught me the value of hard work, giving back to my community, and, most importantly, putting God first in my life. I want to follow their example and make them proud.
I am fully committed to my community and the 88th District because this is my home. Having lived in the 88th for over 20 years, I understand the diverse needs of my constituents. I will work tirelessly to represent their best interests and ensure their voices are heard. I am a good listener, I always follow through, and my experience as a litigator has taught me to fight for causes I believe in.
Integrity, honesty, willingness to listen, compassion, and common sense.
The Bible. My faith is the most important thing in my life and, though I certainly do not claim to be perfect, I strive to live for Jesus daily. The Bible is my daily guidebook to life and it has answers to anything I could possibly need.
Fresh ideas and innovative policies coming from a political outsider or someone who is not caught up in the "system" could benefit every Kentuckian, especially constituents of the 88th. While experience should not be discounted, a smart public servant would draw upon the expertise of others as well.
Yes - their knowledge on a particular issue could enhance my knowledge and lend support to my ultimate goal in representing the 88th. Legislators come from all walks of life and career fields, thus, we can pool our experience and specialties to make the best decisions for our constituents.
I have heard countless stories of small businesses suffering as a result of COVID-19. Even those businesses that are able to reopen are struggling to comply with the CDC guidelines and find PPE. My heart is broken for these hardworking constituents who are worried about making ends meet, paying rent/mortgages, and keeping their heads above water. I will do whatever I can to support them because they are the backbone of our community.
