Biography
Monteia Mundy was born in Huntington, West Virginia. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University in 2010. A member of the Kentucky bar, Mundy earned a graduate degree from the Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2014. Mundy’s career experience includes working as an attorney. She served as a communications chair and executive committee member of the Fayette County GOP. Mundy also served as an operations officer for USA Cares, which describes its mission as “to provide post-9/11 military veterans, service members and their families with emergency financial assistance and post-service skills training”.[1][2]

|lived in both a neighborhood and the rural portion of the 88th, where I currently reside on a small farm. It is time for me to give back to the community that has given me so much and I am ready for the challenge. I promise to always listen to my constituents and give 110%, because they deserve nothing less. As State Representative, I will work to enhance the business climate in Kentucky. Jobs, fiscal responsibility, infrastructure improvement, decreasing crime, and supporting education - these are issues that matter to Kentucky's hardworking families. If the people of the 88th District trust me
with their vote, I will restore the conservative values and principles they expect.- I will fight to decrease public spending, taxes, and government debt.
- I will work to eliminate burdensome regulations on our business community, promoting job creation and retention.
- I will work every day to protect our Constitutional rights and freedoms.
