Monterey Park Trash-Hauling Ordinance, Measure BB (March 2011)
A City of Monterey Trash-Hauling Ordinance, Measure BB was on the March 8, 2011 ballot for voters in the City of Monterey in Los Angeles County, where it was approved.[1]
Measure BB requires the city to obtain competitive bids before deciding where to award its trash-hauling contracts.

After Measure BB was approved at the ballot box, its opponents filed a lawsuit seeking to have the results of the election overturned. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge John Torribio ruled against the plaintiffs.[2]
