Two Montrose City Manager Removal Process Amendment proposals are on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Genesee County, which is in Michigan, where they were defeated.

The first proposal would have amended the Montrose City Charter in order to proved for the removal of the City manager only upon the affirmative vote of 5 members of the City Council.

The second proposal would have amended the Montrose City Charter in order to remove the current restrictions on the removal of the City Manager.[1]
