A Montrose City Office Amendment proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Genesee County, which is in Michigan, where it was defeated.

If approved, this proposal would have amended the Montrose City Charter in order to allow a person who holds or has held any appointed or elected City office to be eligible for appointment to non-elective office or employment.[1]
