Two Montrose Township Fire Department Levy Renewal proposal were on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Genesee County, which is in Michigan where they were both approved.

The first proposal renewed a property tax of 0.4747 mills ($0.4747 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 6 years in order to fund the operation of Montrose Township Fire Department. The estimated first year revenue from this tax was $54,806.[1]

The second proposal renewed a property tax of 0.2494 mills ($0.2494 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 6 years in order to fund equipment purchases of the Montrose Township Fire Department. The estimated first year revenue from this tax was $28,794.
