Morey Sear
Morey Leonard Sear (1929 - 2004) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Sear was nominated by President Gerald Ford on March 30, 1976, to a seat vacated by James Comiskey; he was confirmed by the Senate on May 6, 1976, and received commission the next day. From 1992-1999, he served as the chief judge. He assumed senior status on October 31, 2000. He served the Eastern District of Louisiana until his death on September 6, 2004.[1]
