A Morral Village Current Expenses Tax Levy Increase question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Marion County, which is in Ohio, where it was defeated.

This question would have authorized the village of Morral to replace a tax levy of 0.93 mills and increase property taxes 1 mill resulting in a tax levy of 1.93 mills ($1.93 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund current expenses.[1]

Text of measure

Language on the ballot:

A replacement of .93 mills of an existing levy and an increase of 1 mill to constitute a tax for the benefit of the Village of Morral for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding 1.93 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.193 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013?[1][2]
