Education

Silberman received his bachelor's degree in philosophy and political science from Tulane University. He earned his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law in 1982.[1]

Career

Silberman began his legal career as a law clerk for Judge Herboth S. Ryder of the Second District Court of Appeal. He then practiced law with firms in Sarasota and Clearwater before starting his own law firm in 1988.[1]

A three-judge panel of the Second District Court of Appeal voted to overturn the conviction of former school principal John Stelmack, who was arrested and convicted on child pornography charges for photoshopping pictures of children onto nude images of adults.
