Morrison McKelvy Bonpasse was a 2016 Democratic candidate for president.[1]

After growing up in Duxbury, Massachusetts, Bonpasse graduated from Phillips Academy.[2] He went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Yale College in 1972, his J.D. from Boston University in 1976, his MPA from Northeastern University in 1979 and his MBA from Babson College in 1986.[3]

Bonpasse served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971.[3]

Professionally, Bonpasse is a businessman who founded the Single Global Currency Association, a group that advocates for the implementation of a single global currency to be managed by a Global Central Bank within a Global Monetary Union. He also is the executive director of Bonpasse Exoneration Services, a nonprofit assiting inmates claiming wrongful conviction.[2]

Excerpt: "Through improvements in the law enforcement and judicial systems, the U.S. must effectively stop wrongful convictions by bringing their frequency from the current level of approximately 2% to a level of .1% of convictions/inmates or fewer before the end of this decade."

Environment

Excerpt: "The U.S. should support programs to bring the U.S. and global birth rates down to the levels of the death rates in order to bring population growth to ZPG (Zero Population Growth) as soon as possible, and then to continue to support lower birth rates to return the global population to an Earth-sustainable one billion."
