Morrison McKelvy Bonpasse was a 2016 Democratic candidate for president.[1]
Ballotpedia documented all statements of presidential candidacy registered with the Federal Election Commission during the 2016 election cycle. While Bonpasse was named in one of these statements, that does not guarantee Bonpasse authorized the filing or actively campaigned.
Biography
After growing up in Duxbury, Massachusetts, Bonpasse graduated from Phillips Academy.[2] He went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Yale College in 1972, his J.D. from Boston University in 1976, his MPA from Northeastern University in 1979 and his MBA from Babson College in 1986.[3]
Bonpasse served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971.[3]
Professionally, Bonpasse is a businessman who founded the Single Global Currency Association, a group that advocates for the implementation of a single global currency to be managed by a Global Central Bank within a Global Monetary Union. He also is the executive director of Bonpasse Exoneration Services, a nonprofit assiting inmates claiming wrongful conviction.[2]
