Moses Baker, Jr.
Moses Baker, Jr. is a former judge of the 15th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed by former Governor Lawton Chiles on June 10, 1994, to replace Judge Daniel Hurley.[1][2] Baker retired on January 31, 2017.[3]
Education
Hurley received his B.S. in political science from Florida A&M University in 1973 and his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law in 1975.[1]
Career
Hurley joined the Office of the State Attorney for the 15th Judicial Circuit in 1976. He worked there as a senior homicide prosecutor until 1984. He worked as a partner of Searcy, Denney, Scarola, Barnhart & Shipley, P.A. until he was appointed to the circuit court in 1994.[1]

Baker was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[4]
