Partisan election (10 seats)
Note: At the time of the May 18 primary election, nine seats on the Allegheny Court of Common Pleas were up for partisan election. After Judge Guido A. De Angelis decided in August 2021 to not run for retention, another seat was added to the November ballot. The Democratic Party nominated Thomas Caulfield and the Republican Party nominated Rick Hosking to appear on the ballot.[3]
