Dane County, Wisconsin, held general elections for county executive and circuit court judges and special elections for county supervisors on April 6, 2021. A primary was scheduled for February 16, 2021. The filing deadline for this election was January 5, 2021.
Dane County also held a special election for District 19 on the Board of Supervisors on July 13, 2021. A primary election was scheduled for June 15 but was not needed. The filing deadline for this election was May 21. The special election became necessary after Teran Peterson resigned from the board on April 30.[1]
Dane County also held a special election for District 20 on the Board of Supervisors on August 10, 2021. A primary election was scheduled for July 13, 2021, but was canceled after no candidates filed to run. Voters still had the opportunity to vote for write-in candidates on August 10.[2] The filing deadline for this election was June 18, 2021.[3]
