A primary was scheduled for August 20, 2024. The filing deadline for judicial seats was April 26, 2024, and the filing deadline for non-judicial seats was June 14, 2024.
Nonpartisan seats could be won outright in the primary if a candidate received a majority of the votes. If no candidate received a majority of the votes, the two candidates who received the most votes advanced to the general election.
