Lancaster County, Nebraska, is holding general elections for assessor-register of deeds, attorney, clerk, clerk of the district court, engineer, public defender, sheriff, treasurer, county commission, community college board, educational service unit board, natural resources district board, county court judges, district court judges, and state workers’ compensation court judges on November 3, 2026. A primary is scheduled for May 12, 2026.
The filing deadline for incumbents running in the primary is February 17, 2026, and the filing deadline for non-incumbents running in the primary is March 2, 2026. The filing deadline for incumbents running in the general election is July 15, 2026, and the filing deadline for non-incumbents running in the general election is August 3, 2026. The filing deadline for judges running for retention is August 3, 2026.
