Pinellas County, Florida, held general elections for clerk of circuit court & comptroller, property appraiser, public defender, sheriff, state attorney, supervisor of elections, tax collector, county commission, fire control district, circuit court judges, county court judges on November 5, 2024. A primary was scheduled for August 20, 2024. The filing deadline for judicial seats was April 26, 2024, and the filing deadline for non-judicial seats was June 14, 2024.
Nonpartisan seats could be won outright in the primary if a candidate received a majority of the votes. If no candidate received a majority of the votes, the two candidates who received the most votes advanced to the general election.
Primary and general elections for circuit court and county court seats were canceled if a candidate was unopposed.
