The two candidates who received the most votes in the primary election for the community college districts advanced to a general election on November 6, 2018. The county government of San Diego County is located in San Diego, California. The county was first established in 1850. It covers a total of 4,206 square miles in southern California. [3]As of 2010, its population was 3,095,313.
County government
San Diego County is overseen by a five-member board of supervisors. Each supervisor is elected by district to a four-year term. Residents also elect a county assessor/recorder/clerk, district attorney, county treasurer/tax collector, and county sheriff.
