Murrey Thomas Taylor is a judge on the Williamson County General Sessions Court in Tennessee.[1][2] He was elected in August 2014, effective September 1, for a term that expires on August 31, 2022.[3][4]

Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 56.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Steven P. Westbrook.

Taylor received his J.D. degree from the University of Memphis.[1]

Career

Taylor was a judge of the Fairview/Franklin Municipal Court from 1987 to 2014. He previously worked as an attorney in a general practice, specializing in both criminal and civil law.[1]
