A Muskegon City Transportation Services Levy Amendment proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Muskegon County, which is in Michigan, where it was approved.
This proposal amended the Muskegon City Charter to authorize a property tax levy of 0.1 mills ($0.1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) in order to fund transportation services.[1]

| “ | Shall Section 8 of Article XI of the City Charter be adopted to authorize the levy of 0.1 mills on real and personal property situated in the City for the purpose of providing transportation services for low to moderate income citizens over the age of 62 who reside in the City of Muskegon, commencing with the December 1, 2012 levy, in addition to the current tax limitation, and that these provisions be made an express part of the City Charter? (This Charter amendment is contingent upon adoption of the Charter amendment adding Section 7 to Article XI.)[1][2] | ” |
