Sharp ran for election to the Second Judicial District.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 24 percent of the vote. He competed against John C. Gargiulo, Chris Schmidt and Robert Fant Walker.

Education
Sharp earned his B.S. in business administration and his J.D. from the University of Southern Mississippi.[3]
Career
Sharp is a managing partner for Sharp Law Firm, PLLC and a councilman for Gulfport, Mississippi. He formerly worked as a partner with Hewitt and Sharp, PLLC.[3]
