N. Russell Bower

N. Russell Bower is a former judge of the Fourteenth Circuit Court in Florida. He retired in 2002 and passed away October 10, 2012.[1]
Education
Bower earned his B.S. from Troy State University in 1963 and his J.D. from the University of Florida School of Law in 1967.[2]
Career
Bower was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1968. Before serving on the Florida 14th Circuit Court, he was the Chief Assistant State Attorney for Leo Jones and in 1977 he was elected County Judge for Bay County. He was County Judge for a very short time when he was appointed by Governor Reubin Askew to a vacancy on the Florida 14th Circuit Court. Bower served as Circuit Court Judge from 1977 to 2002, when he retired.[1]
