NH Superior Court Judge Arnold announces retirement

CONCORD, NH Last week, Judge John P. Arnold announced his retirement from the New Hampshire Superior Court effective in November 2011. Arnold has served on the court for 18 years and served as the state attorney general prior to being nominated for the bench. Arnold commented on his retirement, telling the press, "It has been an honor for me to serve the people of New Hampshire , as attorney general, and as a Superior Court judge. I want to thank my colleagues, the attorneys who appeared in front of me, and especially the court staff who gave me their support over all these years. I look forward to a continuing association with the Superior Court, as a senior status judge, if my help is needed.”[1] Arnold will be taking on senior status and will continue to work with the Cheshire Superior Court and the Sullivan Superior Court.[1]
