There was going to be a NYC 9/11 Referendum, New Commission Probe on the November ballot in New York City, but it did not qualify.

There was a move to put a referendum on the November ballot in New York City to force another commission into creation and do another probe, in the eyes of the citizens pushing for this a more fair and in depth look at who was responsible for the attacks on September 11, 2001. Currently the New York City Coalition for Accountability Now (NYC CAN) is the main force behind this drive to get this referendum on the ballot. The city is currently trying to block the referendum from getting on the ballot, the two forces have taken the case to court and will hopefully be decided upon September 30th.[1]
