The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 20, 2014. Incumbent Marie Poulson was unopposed in the Democratic convention. N. William Clayton was unopposed in the Republican convention. Lee Anne Walker ran as a Libertarian. Poulson defeated Clayton and Walker in the general election.[1]
