Nader v. McAuliffe

Nader v. McAuliffe is a lawsuit filed in October 2007 by Ralph Nader against Terry McAuliffe alleging that in 2004, McAuliffe conspired to prevent Nader's name from appearing on state ballots in Nader's presidential election bid.
McAuliffe filed a motion to dismiss the complaint or alternatively, to have the case transferred to the jurisdiction of the District Court of the District of Columbia, rather than the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
On February 20, 2008, the Nader legal team filed a 30-page brief arguing against the McAuliffe legal team's motion to dismiss the complaint.[1]
The court later granted McAuliffe's motion to dismiss the case.[2]
