Nakisha Ervin-Knott (Democratic Party) is a judge for the 1st District of the Louisiana 4th Circuit Court of Appeal. She assumed office on January 1, 2023. Her current term ends on December 31, 2032.

Ervin-Knott (Democratic Party) won election for the 1st District judge of the Louisiana 4th Circuit Court of Appeal outright in the primary on November 8, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.

In 2011, she ran for the 41st Judicial District in Louisiana. She lost in the runoff election on November 19, 2011.[1][2]

Primary: She was elected in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 58 percent of the vote. She competed against Lloyd J. Medley, Jr.

Ervin-Knott ran unsuccessfully in the runoff election for the 41st Judicial District on November 19. She received 40.5% of the vote and was defeated by Clare Jupiter.[1]

Ervin-Knott won 35.78% of the vote in the primary.[4]
