Nan Baker
Nan Baker (Republican Party) was a member of the Cuyahoga County Council in Ohio, representing District 1. She assumed office in 2017. She left office on January 1, 2023.
Baker (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Cuyahoga County Council to represent District 1 in Ohio. She lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.
She was first appointed to the Cuyahoga County Council by the Cuyahoga County Republican Central Committee.
Baker previously served as a member of the Westlake Board of Education from 1996 to 1999 and the Westlake City Council from 2000 to 2009. She also served as a Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 16 from 2008 to 2016.[1] Baker ran for the District 24 seat in the Ohio State Senate in 2016.[2]
Biography
Baker earned an associate degree in business from Lorain County Community College and a B.A. from Baldwin Wallace College. Her experience includes work as a small business owner and service as the president and a trustee of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Ohio Aerospace and Technology Committee and the Ohio Department of Development's Clean Ohio Council.[3]

Todd LeVeck was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Nan Baker was unopposed in the Republican primary. Baker defeated LeVeck in the general election.[7]
