Nancy Blount was the chief judge for the 36th District Court.[1] She served as a judge on the court from 1983 and was appointed chief judge by the Michigan Supreme Court on August 26, 2013.[2] She retired from the court in February 2021.[3]

Biography

Education

Blount received both her undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Michigan.[1]

Career

Before she became a judge, Blount served as an assistant corporation counsel for the City of Detroit and was also previously an adjunct professor for Wayne State University.[2]
