Nancy Hershey Lord was a judge on the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. She was appointed on February 29, 2012, and retired on February 28, 2026.[1]

Education

Lord earned a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Albany and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.[2]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Lord worked for more than 12 years in the New York State Office of the Attorney General, most recently as the head of the agency's Bankruptcy Unit.[3]
