Nancy M. Purpura

Nancy M. Purpura is a judge on the Third Circuit Court for Baltimore County in Maryland.[1] She was appointed to this position by Governor Martin O'Malley on December 22, 2011 to replace Thomas J. Bollinger and was elected to a full term in November 2012.[2][3]
Education
Purpura received her undergraduate degree from Towson State University and her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law.[4]
Career
Purpura previously served as a judge for the 8th District Court from August 28, 2001 to January 4, 2012.[5] She also served as a trial attorney in the Office of the Public Defender of Anne Arundel and Baltimore County.[4]

2012 election
Purpura ran unopposed for her appointed seat on the Third Circuit Court.[6] Purpura was successful in her bid, receiving 99.1% of the vote.[7][8]
