Nancy grew up in New Washington, Indiana and currently lives in Sellersburg, Indiana. She worked at General Mills for 42 years, and supported union workers as Vice President of the union.Over the years Nancy continued her education with coursework on Union Leadership (Indiana University) and Business and Accounting (Indiana University Southeast.) She has been a political activist for years and is pro-education, pro-healthcare, pro-union, and pro-law enforcement.
  • Nancy is concerned about quick and rash political decisions being made by our state legislature that don’t speak to the wishes of the majority of Hoosiers.
  • Nancy hopes to support real critical issues in education such as: school funding, teacher pay and benefits, and focusing on how to promote fair and accurate assessments.
  • Nancy supports union efforts to protect worker’s rights, and is opposed to the “Right to Work Law” and will work to have it repealed.
Nancy’s greatest passion is for supporting Public Education. She wants to keep focus on providing a quality education for Hoosier students by supporting teachers unions and directing state funds to public educational resources.

Healthcare is a key issue for Nancy and she believes:
Having access to affordable healthcare should be a right.
Supporting healthcare workers and first responders should be a priority.
State laws should not inhibit healthcare professionals from providing care.

Nancy plans to support Unions and will work towards repealing the “Right to Work Law.”
