Nancy Porter

Nancy Porter is the Department 1 judge on the Fourth Judicial District Court in Nevada. She was appointed by Governor Brian Sandoval on December 12, 2011, and took office on January 13, 2012.[1][2] She ran for re-election in 2014, winning a new term that expires on January 3, 2021.[3][4]

Porter received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law.[1]
Career
Before her appointment to the district court bench, Porter was a solo practitioner. She has also served as a mediator.[1]
