Nancy Wurzman
Nancy Wurzman is the Place 2 representative on the Collin College Board of Trustees in Texas. First elected to the Place 1 seat on the board in 2010, she won election to the Place 2 seat in the general election on May 6, 2017.
Biography
Wurzman earned a B.A. in education from Queens College, an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, and a J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law.[1]
At the time of her 2017 run for office, Wurzman was the owner of her own law firm, the Law Office of Nancy Wurzman, and the principal consultant at Prime Risk Consulting. Her professional experience also includes work as a senior risk management consultant for Charles Taylor Consulting, an assistant general counsel for Greyhound Lines, and a counsel and risk/litigation manager for the Combined Group.[1]

Collin County, Texas, held an election for Collin College Board of Trustees on May 6, 2017. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 17, 2017.
The Places 1, 2, and 3 seats were up for regular election in 2017. There was also a special election for the Place 5 seat. Nancy Wurzman defeated Jeri Landfair Chambers in the general election for the Place 2 seat on the Collin College Board of Trustees.[2]
