Nani Coloretti was the deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in the Biden administration from 2022 to 2025. She was confirmed by the Senate in a 57-41 vote on March 29, 2022.[1]

President Joe Biden (D) nominated her for deputy director of the OMB on November 24, 2021. Her nomination was announced along with former deputy director Shalanda Young's nomination for director of the OMB.[2]

Biography

Coloretti received a B.A. in economics and communications from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.P.P. from the University of California, Berkely. At the time of her nomination to deputy director of the OMB in the Biden Administration, she was the senior vice president of the Urban Institute.

Her previous experience in federal government includes working as deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), assistant secretary for management and acting CFO of U.S. Department of the Treasury, and acting COO of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau during the Obama Administration. Before this, she worked as policy and budget Director for San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom.[3]
