Napa County Non-Golfers at the Chardonnay Golf Course Restaurant, Measure V (November 2012)
A Napa County Service to Non-Golfers at the Chardonnay Golf Course Restaurant, Measure V ballot question was on the November 6, 2012, ballot for voters in Napa County, where it was approved.[1]
The Chardonnay Golf Club is an "18-hole semi-private golf facility located Southeast of the city of Napa in Jameson Canyon at the gateway to the world renowned Napa Valley wine district."
It includes a restaurant. Previously zoning forbid the restaurant to serve the non-golfing public. This measure changed that.[1]
A majority of the Napa County Board of Supervisors believed that because of Measure P, a law that governs commercial uses on agricultural lands in the county, they had to go to the voters to get this small zoning change approved.[1]
The rule that forbids non-golfing diners from being served at the club was not actually enforced.[1]
