Natalie Braswell
Natalie Braswell (Democratic Party) was the Connecticut Comptroller. She assumed office on December 31, 2021. She left office on January 4, 2023.
Braswell was appointed by Gov. Ned Lamont (D) to replace Kevin Lembo, who resigned on December 31, 2021 due to health complications.[1]
Biography
Braswell earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Connecticut in 2000, an M.P.A. from the University of Connecticut in 2002, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2007.[2]
Braswell previously worked in the Connecticut Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). Prior to working for DEEP, she served as general counsel and assistant comptroller in the Office of the State Comptroller under the leadership of Comptroller Lembo.[2]
