As a fourth-generation Arizona native who grew up in Mesa, I've called Gilbert home for the past 18 years and have personally witnessed its transformation. My background in entrepreneurship and real estate has not only provided me with valuable experience but also a profound connection to our community.

I'm a parent to three amazing teenage children, all of whom attend school here in Gilbert. In 2017, our family experienced the devastating loss of my stepdaughter to an act of violence. This tragic event profoundly changed my outlook on life, inspiring a journey of profound learning, healing, and a deeper sense of compassion.

I am committed to resident-centered policies that preserve Gilbert's unique town culture and uphold our core values. My vision is for Gilbert to be a safe, economically thriving community that maintains a strong sense of connection among its residents. Ultimately, it's our people who define Gilbert as a wonderful place to live, and I am dedicated to ensuring their well-being and prosperity.

I bring energy and innovation to my role without compromising on accountability. My dedication is unwavering—I'm committed to ensuring Gilbert thrives as a safe, supportive place for businesses and families alike. Together, we'll build a promising future for our town.
  • My top priority is to improve communication with the residents and rebuild trust between the town and its residents. Several recent decisions by the current council have resulted in residents feeling silenced. I firmly believe that residents voices matter and they deserve to be heard.
  • Build consensus from council and senior leadership to conduct an independent review of town and police policies to identify opportunities to improve the safety of our residents and their families.
  • Conduct a detailed review of our revenue streams and funding sources. We need to look for innovative opportunities to "pay our bills" without imposing an excessive and undue burden on the taxpayer.
Community Engagement/Communication - The current council has made several policy changes that make it extremely difficult for residents to provide input prior to voting on agenda items. Combined with a feeling of a lack of transparency, the residents of Gilbert have made it clear that they want this to change, and they want to be heard. Government must be accountable to the people. I think that the council has deviated from this fundamental role. The residents have great ideas and can help provide solutions to the issues facing our town. They deserve to have a voice in the decisions being made that affect our future. We should preserve our heritage, but I think it's time to REDEFINE excellence for the future of Gilbert.
Integrity, Transparency, Honesty, Humility.

Most leaders will address integrity and honest as important characteristics. It should go without saying that we shouldn't lie and that we should always try and do what's right whether or not you are serving in office.

Transparency is often manipulated by politicians. Disclosing the truth when asked is not transparency, that's integrity and honesty. True transparency is the unsolicited providing of information to the public before being asked.

Humility is vital to be an effective leader. Often, our elected leaders are too proud to admit their mistakes. The ones that suffer the most are those that trust us to always try to do the right things for their lives and the lives of their families.
At the municipal level providing for the safety of residents is the number one priority followed by providing essential services to residents. Planning and maintaining the necessary infrastructure to conduct business and build our economy is also extremely vital. We also have a responsibility to provide for the additional services that are desired by the residents, such as parks and recreation facilities.
I'd like to leave the residents of our town with a renewed sense of community empowerment and understanding that their voices make all the difference. I want to remove any fears that someone may have about becoming involved with their community. The best ideas for Gilbert with come from the residents of Gilbert.
The mayor should represent the combined vision of the town and all of its residents. The mayor sets the tone and manages the efficient conduct of meetings so that they are productive.
I love the people! Gilbert is a special place where community matters and #Gilbertkindness is woven into our daily lives.
The mayor and council should ensure that our police are properly trained and equipped to safety perform their duties in accordance with clear and well-established guidelines. Ensuring the safety of our residents AND our first responders is paramount.
