As a rancher’s daughter, I love the earth, soil, and water ecology. I understand ecosystems well enough to protect the farm and ranch from ecologically destructive legislation of the far left and can explain how CO2-centric policies are melting the ice caps.

I will protect Idahoan’s right to educational freedom, privacy, home economy, work protections, 2A, and pro-life with dignity for the mother.

I’m the full package. I’m smart, I care for real, I have no corporate obligations, I care about your freedoms and economic security, I’m smart enough to defend us from the Titans of Technology, I’ll fight for the farmers and ranchers, homeschoolers, God loves me and gosh darn it, people like me.

  • a. Promote Family-Focused Free Market Economy. Families must have priority over corporations. Congress currently supports large corporations leveraging families into perpetual debt and hardships. Free Market Capitalism must have a family household unit bias. Families should not have to compete against multibillion-dollar International Equity Firms when buying homes. Idaho’s economy is most secure as families own their own properties outright over perpetual mortgages and rentals. Current COVID assistance is leveraging people out of homes and into rentals. Economic stability begins at home.
  • b. Data Privacy and Technology Bill of rights. Our current congressmen simply don’t have the knowledge base to protect us from Titans of Technology. Our current technologies are based on giving up all hope of privacy and protections. We can have the blessings of modern tech without the massive surveillance by Government and Corporations. It’s time to apply our constitutional protections to technology before it’s too late.
  • We will always uphold the great American tradition that all people are created equal and are worthy of a voice in running our Great Society as this is built into the fabric of our great ¬solutions to free us from political whiplash legislation every 4-8 years. You cannot dismiss multipartisanship and claim to cling to the United States Constitution. Foreign Nations mocked the American ideal that we could self-rule through the many voices of the peoples. We prove them wrong with each generation. Autocratic partisan executive orders circumventing the lasting work of actual legislation are no more than the quick gratification of water-soluble band-aids on bullet wounds. Giddy executive orders dissolve with the next election.
We simply cannot vote for Mike Crapo. Crapo’s $5 million funds are from mostly Megacorps and less than 4% of that comes from Idaho voters. Crapo represents the Megacorps buying the American dream cutting out you and me. The Corporations, CEO’s the CFO’s and their spouses expect their money’s worth from Crapo.

I represent the people of Idaho only. I watch my family loose the farm 30 years ago. Ten years ago, I watched as millions of Americans lost their homes while Crapo and Congress bailed out the financial sector cutting out the American Family from homeownership. They do not see us as worthy; they believe we must be “managed” by them. “You will own nothing, and you will be happy,” says the World Economic Forum.
Meanwhile, Congress does nothing while Megacorps harvest our private data to manage us because the government is doing the same thing. We must protect our right to privacy, especially in the Information Age.
We became the greatest nation in the known history of the earth without the loss of privacy and we do not need to give up our privacy to progress.
I am a rancher’s land-loving daughter, I am the fierce and strong single mother, I am the brave special needs mom overcoming unproven ground, I am the innovative enterprise-wide software developer who can find simple solutions in a mess of confusion.

God returned me with my children to Idaho to protect us. I must repay the debt to protect Idaho families.
Joseph of Egypt. He passed through the worst of trials, was kicked down, rejected by his family, sold into slavery, and sent to prison, but he kept going no matter what. Joseph was punished for every good thing he did. But Joseph kept his faith. His courage, fortitude, intelligence, faith, and vision saved his family and the "known world" of the time.
The helicopter crash in the Iranian desert under the Carter Administration. The absolute national humiliation and discouragement. I was in early elementary school. I remember the "boat people" rescued from Viet Nam on the news. I remember the new hope that came with President Ronald Reagan.
Does delivering the Idaho Statesman walking in two feet of snow uphill both ways, while stumbling off of snow-covered porches in Moscow count? How about "picking up sticks" at the old ranch. "Picking rocks" out of the field. Actually, when we drove mom and grandma crazy dad just dropped us little kids off in the sagebrush and told us to "pick up sticks".
Les Miserables, the unabridged version. Jean Valean doesn't let others decide who he will be.
I love it. Oh to stand up and go on and on, and everyone just has to listen, or wear earplugs. I'll give lectures on livestock management, data privacy, the education system, the impact of bioaerosols on precipitation, tell stories, talk about the importance of whale poo on phytoplankton, how to restore our forests, family-centered economic systems, housing strategies, "unschooling" alternative education methods, autism, support of young mothers and families and more. It is my dream come true.
What do you get when you combine LDS with LSD. A high priest.
I keep people around that I disagree with. They make great sparring partners and help me expand my own understanding of my own views.

Rancher's daughter, software developer, single mom of 4, special needs mom. Pro-Working together, Pro-Land, Pro-Data Privacy, Anti-Government Surveillance, Pro-Constitution, Pro-Life, Pro-2nd Amendment, Pro-Farmers and Ranchers, Pro-MicroClimate Management, Pro-Permaculture, Pro-America, Pro-Homeschool/unschool/public school choice, Pro-Homestead, Pro-Homeownership, Pro-Free market, Anti-Monopoly, Pro-Capitalism, Anti-Crony Capitalism, Pro Forest Management, Pro-Military, Pro-Veteran, Anti-Omnibus Bills, Pro States Rights, Pro Individual Rights, Anti Super Pacs, Pro Human Decency, Pro-Faith with respectful separation of Church and State, Pro-Small Government, Anti-Tax (We all say that part). Idaho is ready to stand up for America with an Independent Senator.
  • We Americans are courageous, kind, giving, dedicated, tenacious, ingeniously creative, blessed, and able to overcome anything 2020 or thereafter can throw at us. But, we have to work together. The only power on Earth able to destroy America is Americans. United we stand, Divided we fall. We must come together in mutual respect and harmony. We cannot let the Parties divide and destroy America. It's time to take back America from partisan political corruption. America is intended to be the a light to the world, we must recover our worthiness of world leadership.
  • Only through hearing all people can Congress create complete solutions to our society's challenges. We must put an end to polar solutions that divide America and leave the other half of America in distress. When American leadership can't work together, the smallest problems turn into 2020 problems. Its time to work the problems instead of throwing good taxpayer's money after it.
  • A simple work the problem example: Let's put all the college lectures on YouTube and let people test out for a small fee. Taxpayers are already paying for over 100,000 live lectures (Pre-COVID) of just Calculus I in Universities across America every year! That's just stupid. The more accessible education is, the better off all America is. An accidental by-product of this plan, the rest of the world will have access. That's just one more tool in their toolbox to build their own countries. As long as their nations crumble, the more they come to our borders, the more we have to send aid. And this Higher Education Youtube plan costs far less than the current system.
Both parties are voting to expand massive surveillance systems across the country on every American Citizen from cradle to grave using the Department of Everything to do it. From schools to Veterans Affairs, to the DMV our federal government is amassing a massive tracking system as bad as Communist China's. We must fight it now, or lose everything.

Homeownership free and clear must be doable for those in all walks of life. Only 20% of American households own their homes free and clear. The longer the poor rent the sooner they end up dependent upon taxpayers. Our month to month payment cycle is crushing the every day American. COVID-19 exposes the frailty of our economic systems.

Climate management is not as hard as liberals make it out to be. Micro Climate management is so simple and has a powerful impact on global climate. Farmers can choose no-till/low-till farming methods that keep land 20 degrees cooler. A row of conifers on the north side of your home can protect it from winter winds, a row of deciduous trees on the south keeps your land cooler in summer and full sun in winter. Letting your lawn grow a couple of inches taller increases CO2-O2 conversion, increases dew, cools the earth, helps it retain water. Water retention landscapes keep the water where it falls recharging aquifers. Wisely managed hooved animals break up the topsoil. Rest between grazing days restores the soil. There is hope, we can make a difference and eat tasty beef at the same time!
Jesus Christ, Mahatma Gandhi, George Washington, the early pioneers who came and build a nation with only what could fit in their wagon. Anyone who built something out of little, had a vision the future, refused to accept the status quo, moved themselves, and others to change. Those who believed they could and did. People who see what is, recognize it needs to change, it can change, and make the change. We may judge them because they did not live by today's standards, but they all raised the standards of their time and place from what it was.
Renewed hope and faith in America.
Reagan's landslide victory over Carter. But what really got me was when they interrupted Saturday Morning Superfriends with Reagen getting shot. I remember Reagan waving out the hospital window. I was ten years old. I do remember the Iran Hostage Crisis during the Carter administration and the embarrassment of the rescue crash in the desert.
Mostly I just remembered the overwhelming sense of despair during the Carter years and the hope and restored faith in America that came with Reagan. I remember Reagan respectfully working with Congress while it was dominated by the opposing party I remember Reagan working to end the Cold War.
I was a papergirl in Moscow Idaho delivering the Spokesman Review. I walked in miles of two feet snow, uphill both ways with a massive bag over my shoulders packed on both sides. Those steps were slippery! I did babysit on weekends and in summers to pay for school clothes and my sibling's missions.

After I graduated I worked at Idaho geological Survey up at the University of Idaho. I learned how to spell Jurassic and a whole lot of other big words.

Then I went south to Orem, Utah at worked for a software company. They were desperate to find good people, train them, and put them to work. I loved working at WordPerfect/Novell Corporation. I learned to troubleshoot, work the problem, and invent creative solutions quickly. All-day long, solve it and create, solve it and create.
After the scriptures, Les Miserables. Boy could Victor ramble! The message of awareness of all human suffering and working to overcome it.
It would be me! Actually right now I really like Chrisjen Avasarala from The Expanse. She's fierce, beautiful, bold, strong, and just amazing. Do you think I could get away with showing up in an extravagant sari?
Yes and no. Obviously, experience gives you wisdom and connections. But, by the time a candidate serves a the state level, they are conditioned to partisanship, corruption, and have no corruption-shock in DC. We need to send someone who is fresh and will suffer from corruption-shock to fight back. Idaho can do this. Send me to DC and I'll stand up. I'm okay with being hated. I will not comply with corruption.
The filibuster reminds us to consider all sides. I've spent some time thinking of how to entertain during the filibuster. Being number 6 of 8 children, I wasn't heard much, believe me, I could fill the filibuster! Perhaps I could practice my comedic skills or lecture endlessly on holistic land management. I promise to entertain and educate during a good filibuster.
The constitution, the constitution, the constitution. That and human decency.

Ballotpedia survey responses

Candidate Connection

Natalie Fleming completed Ballotpedia's Candidate Connection survey. The survey questions appear in bold and are followed by Fleming's responses.

What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

Education Reform and implementing technology to dramatically lower costs, reach more students while maintaining student privacy in Elementary, Secondary, and Higher Education. Restoration Agriculture as a means of wise land management, restoring Healthy Ecosystems and healing the land. Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, Technology's place in Preserving and maintaining our freedoms, rights, and establishing a Technology Bill of Rights.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Tax incentives for community volunteerism, Adaptive Education, using agriculture to heal the land, maintaining Data Privacy, restoring a healthy food supply, securing America's Infrastructure, protecting the Second Amendment and National Security, teaching self reliance, improving healthcare affordability through promoting healthy life choices and access to Direct Primary Care.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

Lets see, Gandhi drew on the goodness within all to bring about healthy society change. Victor Hugo taught us resilience for doing good always while forgiving and helping the unfortunate. George Washington faced the bitter cold against the fiercest adversaries, faced every discouragement to form our Nation. Our Pioneer ancestors walked away from all their possessions and life to brave a new future from only that which Nature and our creator could provide. There are many for each of us to look up to. This is just a sampling.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

I am resilient. I hold my leaders to the highest of standards. I believe and know that collaborative solutions that bless every life can be found and implemented to bless everyone. I believe in human decency, kindness, creativity, and the worth of all souls. I've been blessed with a diversity of adversity that allows me to relate to many people. I can see through the malice of the parties to understand that they are no longer worthy to lead this nation.

What legacy would you like to leave?

I plan to leave a renewed hope in the goodness and future of humanity. I plan to leave a stronger, more resilient nation that leads the entire world to greater peace and world prosperity with hope in their own separate nations ability to provide for their means and prosperous futures. I plan to leave the earth a little greener, a little happier, a little more compassionate, a few more flowing clear rivers, the world a bit wiser, but most of all leave the children with dirt under their fingernails and cool bugs in their pockets.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

I sadly remember our national humiliation and defeat when the helicopters crashed in the desert failing to rescue hostages in Iran. I remember the discouragement of the oil crisis, and the renewed hope and faith of Ronald Reagan brought to our nation. But what really upset me, was when my Saturday morning cartoons, The Superfriends, was interrupted by our President Ronald Reagan and his team shot.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you want to be?

I used to want to be many cool fictional characters. I spent many hours spinning into Wonder Woman, but now, I just want to be me.

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

I've lived a well rounded Diversity of Adversity however, as many of those adversities involve the challenges my children have faced, I am not free to share them. But each adversity brought me closer to understanding the challenges many families face ever single day.
