I am an educator, a young woman, a lifelong Idahoan, a homeowner, a tax-payer and a candidate for the Idaho House of Representatives. I am running because I am an everyday Idahoan, whose whole family lives, owns businesses, recreates and gathers here, who works and owns property in the same neighborhood, Boise’s Southwest District 22. I love this state and am ready to get to work, giving back to the place and people that have given so much to me. I am highly engaged in my volunteerism and community - I have taught extracurricular children's theatre, coached/judged extracurricular high school competitions, built homes with habitat for humanity, worked a community garden that gives to the local food bank, am a member of a local interfaith conservation group, union member - building rep, AAUW member, Precinct Captain, and was appointed to the Ada County Developer Impact Fee Advisory Board to engage directly in the issues my voters care about. I love my community and am passionate about public service.
  • Make growth pay for itself through developer impact fees and proactive planning
  • Create property taxes that are fair by offering increased exemptions to homeowners rather than corporate businesses
  • Invest in Idaho's future by fully funding our public schools and the next generation
I want to see Idaho fulfill its potential and rise in the ranks of education, infrastructure and livability for its locals. I am eager to ensure that Idahoans raise well-educated children who will become the next generation of parents and consumers and business leaders.

I cannot sleep peacefully in my home while so many others are unable to afford the same for themselves. I want to work toward a tax plan that doesn’t run property owners out of their homes, advocate for renter protections and encourage growth that pays for itself through developer impact fees and proactive planning that will provide our communities with high-quality roadways, efficient connectivity, high-speed broadband, and emergency services.

I am passionate about making Idaho better and more livable for all of us. We need creative problem-solving, compromise and real representation for all of us, through a more balanced legislature.
