Natasha Murray
Natasha Murray was a candidate for the Division 4 seat on the Fayette County Board of Education in the Kentucky general election on November 4, 2014.[1] Natasha Murray lost the general election on November 4, 2014.[2]
Biography
Murray earned her master's degree in education policy and higher education from the University of Kentucky and was a Ph.D candidate at the time of her candidacy. She has served as an educational consultant and research analyst for the Kentucky Department of Education. Murray has also served as vice president of the National Council on Educating Black Children (NCEBC).[3]

2014
The election in Fayette County featured two seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. There was no primary election. Division 2 incumbent Doug Barnett defeated challenger Roger Cleveland while Division 4 incumbent Amanda Ferguson won re-election against Natasha Murray.

Funding
State law did not require campaign finance reporting if contributions or expenditures did not exceed $1,000 in an election cycle.[4]
