Nate Atkins
Nate Atkins (Libertarian Party) (also known as Honey Badger) ran for election for Mayor of Minneapolis in Minnesota. Atkins lost in the general election on November 2, 2021.
Elections in Minneapolis are officially nonpartisan, but the Minneapolis City Charter allows mayoral and city council candidates to choose a party label to appear below their name on the official ballot. 2012
Atkins ran in the 2012 election for Minnesota House of Representatives District 61B. He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on August 14 and was defeated by incumbent Paul Thissen (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
2010
Atkins ran for election to the District 63A seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. He was defeated by Paul Thissen (DFL) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]
