Nathan A. Verkamp is a judge of the Dubois County Circuit Court in Indiana. He was elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.[1]

General: He defeated Kevin D. Crouse in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 58.3 percent of the vote. [2][3]

Verkamp earned his B.S. and his J.D. from Indiana University[1]

Career

After high school, Verkamp served for more than four years in the U.S. Navy. He served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson and completed a tour in support of Operation Desert Shield. After his discharge, Verkamp worked at a custom cabinet factory and on a farm before attending college. Prior to his election to the court, he ran a law practice in Jasper.[1][4]
