Nathan Grosshandler
Nathan Grosshandler was a candidate for at-large representative on the Jackson School District Board of Education in New Jersey. The general election was held on November 3, 2015.[1] He lost the election.[2]
Biography
Grosshandler is an educator. He works as an adjunct professor at Kean University and as the director of school counseling for the Hazlet Township school district. He earned a bachelor's degree from Stockton University, a master's degree from Georgian Court College and a Ph.D. in education administration from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.[3] He unsuccessfully ran for a seat on the Jackson Township Council in 2014.[4]

Three of the seven seats on the Jackson School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 3, 2015. The election was held at large.[5] The seats of incumbents Theresa Schiazza, Adam Silvan and Marvin Krakower were on the ballot.[6]
Schiazza did not file to run for re-election, guaranteeing at least one newcomer would join the board. Challengers John Burnetsky, Scott Sargent and Vicki Grasso won election to the board. They defeated Silvan, Krakower, Michael Walsh, Nathan Grosshandler and Jonathan Regan-Levine.[2]

Grosshandler reported no contributions or expenditures to the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission in the election.[7]
The first campaign finance reporting deadline was October 5, 2015. Candidates had to file another report on October 23, 2015, and the last report was due November 23, 2015.[8]
