Nathan Libby (Democratic Party) was a member of the Maine State Senate, representing District 21. He assumed office on December 2, 2014. He left office on December 6, 2022.
Libby (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Maine State Senate to represent District 21. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Libby began serving as state Senate majority leader in 2018.
Libby served in the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 73 from 2012 to 2014.

The signature filing deadline for party candidates wishing to run in this election was March 17, 2014. The deadline for write-in candidates to run in the primary election was April 28, 2014, and the deadline for non-party candidates to run in the general election was June 2, 2014. Nathan Libby was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Patricia Gagne was unopposed in the Republican primary. Libby defeated Gagne in the general election.[5][6][7][8]
