My name is Nate Ramker, and I am 52 years old. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Becky, for 35 years. Together, we have been blessed with seven children and 13 grandchildren. Originally from Wisconsin, we moved to Iowa in 2005 after living in Florida, seeking to return to the Midwest to raise our family. Out of our seven children, five live in our district, along with all 13 of our grandchildren.

I have been a small business owner since I graduated from high school, and while I have never been involved in politics, I feel compelled to run for office due to the current state of the economy and the influence of the woke and transgender agenda in our schools. I am deeply concerned about the future of our children and grandchildren and believe that parents should have a say in their upbringing.

I am running against the incumbent Democrat in our district, who has run unopposed for the last two terms. She voted No on bills HF2523, SF2096, SF 482, HF348, SF 496, HF 2577, and SF538, which would have protected parental rights and curbed the transgender agenda in schools. It is time for a change, and I am committed to standing up for the values and rights of our community.
The Economy, Parental Rights, Education and I will also fight to protect our 1st and 2nd amendments
I would introduce a bill to put term limits on elected officials.
