Nathan Russo (independent) ran for election to the Georgia State Senate to represent District 3. He lost as a write-in in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Russo was a 2016 write-in candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Georgia.[1] Russo was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Georgia.

2012
Russo ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Georgia's 1st District. Russo sought the nomination on the Democratic ticket.[3] Candidates wishing to run were required to file by the signature filing deadline of May 25, 2012. The primary elections were held on July 31, 2012. He was defeated.[4]
