Nathaniel C. Nichols is a judge on the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected in 2011 and his term expires in 2021.

Education

Nichols earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Howard University. He earned his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.[1]

Career

After his admission to the bar in 1974 Nichols served the Delaware County Legal Assistance Association. He then went into private practice founding the firm Early, Nichols and Givens. In 1986 he joined the faculty of Widener Law School as a clinical professor. During his time at Widner law school he has served as Dean of Students and the Director of Clinical Programs.[1]

2011 election

Nichols won both the Republican and Democratic party primaries on May 17. He received 16.4% in the Democratic primary and 18.2% of the vote in the Republican primary.[2] He was elected in the general election on November 8, receiving 19.1% of the vote.[3]
