The Nebraska Legislative Supermajority for Tax Increases Amendment was not on the November 4, 2014 ballot in Nebraska as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. The measure would have required the approval of a majority of all legislators plus four additional legislators to impose or increase the rate of taxation.[1]
The amendment was sponsored in the Nebraska Senate by State Senator Pete Pirsch (NP-4) as Legislative Resolution 2CA.[2]

The Nebraska State Senate must pass the legislation by a 60 percent vote in order to place the proposed amendment on the ballot. The 2014 legislative session ended without the measure's approval.
